    Holy Moly...that's a lotta snow!

    in Island & Mud Lake

We survived the polar vortex here at the lake and it left us with a nice "dusting" of snow. Our resident Lake Association Vice President measured and found 27 inches of the white stuff covering the decks and driveways around Island and Mud Lakes. Whew. Spring ahead indeed.

On a sadder note, we lost local Island Lake resident Marlow (Butch) Barry on February 12, 2019. Rest in peace, Butch, we will miss you.
