2024-2025 IMLPOA Calendar

Once again, the Island/Mud Lake Association is creating a calendar! It will include ALL of the important dates like openers, meetings, and holidays so that YOU can plan your trips to the lake. But we need YOUR photos so that we can feature them on the calendar pages.

 

THE DETAILS:

·       We are looking for 14 photos...for 13 months and a cover page. 

·       Photos should be crowd shots, landscapes, flora, fauna, family pets, etc. 

·       We want photos highlighting all four seasons.

·       Photos from our 2 lakes or the immediate surrounding area only.

·       JPG or PDF in landscape mode ONLY...no zooms, please.

    

​TIPS FOR THIS CALENDAR:

—>Check to see that you have an 8 megapixel or above camera. Most newer phones have one, but google your phone if you’re not sure. 

—>Centering OK but NO ZOOM, please.

—>Try to get as much lighting as possible...dark photos don't work well.

—>Turn your phone sideways & center the image to get the landscape mode needed for the calendar.

—>The key to getting the highest resolution and size is to send it as “Actual Size” directly from your cell phone or camera.

MORE INFO:

·       Submit as many photos as you wish.

·       Submission cut off is May 15, 2024

·       Please include the photographer's name, the location and a few words about the photo such as--Sunrise on Mud Lake, Fawns drinking along back bay shoreline, Turtles sunning near Lookums island, etc.
